I’m Cody, cohost of the R2 Pursuits podcast, and the guy who firmly believes that if you can’t fix it yourself with duct tape and a little bit of creative cursing, it probably doesn’t need fixing.
I’m a passionate bowhunter and firearms enthusiast, but more than that, I’m obsessed with the stories and traditions that built this whole outdoor community.
The way I see it, a 30-minute podcast isn’t long enough to capture a good hunting tale—but it’s a great start. My goal is to dig into the traditions that got us here, while also convincing my cohost that my last-minute, half-baked repair job is “better than new.”
When I’m not on the mic, I’m probably in a tree stand or at the range, and I’m definitely arguing with a lawnmower or a leaky faucet.
My hands-on, DIY approach means my workshop is full of half-finished projects and a wide variety of tools I’m fairly certain I’ve used at some point.

Join me on the podcast and learn more about hunting and fishing, and if you listen closely, you might even pick up a few tips on how not to fix things.
